At MatrixQR Studio (accessible via www.matrixqr.cc, blog.matrixqr.cc, and menu.matrixqr.cc), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information that is collected and recorded, and how we use it.
Standard QR utilities (such as Wi-Fi, vCard, and text generators) operate with 100% client-side processing in your browser—no data is sent to remote servers. For our Digital Menu Service (menu.matrixqr.cc), user-uploaded menu images or PDFs are stored securely on distributed cloud storage solely to generate scannable access links.
1. Log Files & Analytics
MatrixQR follows standard procedures of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
2. Cookies and Web Beacons
Like any other website, MatrixQR uses basic local storage or session storage solely to preserve user interface preferences (such as selected language or dark mode state). We do not use persistent tracking cookies for cross-site behavioral profiling.
3. Digital Menu Image Hosting & Cloud Storage
When using menu.matrixqr.cc to create menu QR codes, you may upload pre-designed menu files (such as JPG, PNG, WEBP, or PDF).
- Storage Provider: Uploaded menu files are hosted on encrypted, high-availability cloud object storage (Cloudflare R2 Infrastructure).
- Purpose: These files are stored solely to provide a public URL accessible via customer QR code scans.
- Data Minimization: We do not scan, extract, sell, or analyze menu content, text, or prices. Logo overlays and styling adjustments are rendered entirely inside your local browser Canvas.
4. Third-Party Links & Hosting
Our websites are hosted on Vercel, Cloudflare, and GitHub Infrastructure. Third-party content delivery networks (CDNs such as jsDelivr and Unpkg) may gather technical headers necessary to deliver static assets efficiently. Please consult the respective Privacy Policies of these infrastructure providers for more detailed information.
